Is marriage the most important event in a human life? What is the value of this social institution in the life of modern people?
According to scientific research, the importance of marriage is reducing more and more in the modern society in comparison with the previous decades. It is also worth noting that this fact is not relevant for the traditional states such as India, Muslim countries.The statistics are based on Europe and Russia.
There is a huge range of core reasons. For instance, career as a possibility for social mobility, studying,fear of serious relationships. In addition, civil marriage and open relationships are becoming more and more popular, so marriage is beginning to be less relevant. As a consequence birthrate declines sharply in the UK, the USA, Russia and other countries. Can it be said that marriage is an outdated phenomenon in the twenty-first century?
In my opinion, the institution of family and marriage is a significant part of our society, which can not be ignored and mace redundant. It should be noted that each state is interested in the solution of this problem. The institutions of marriage and family enjoy from special protection on the part of the State. As for my motherland, Russian policy actively contributes to an government increase in the number of marriage. To this end the government has already taken all necessary measures in order to increase the birth rate . For example, it have been put in place some various social support programmes, which imply the maternal capital etc.The money can be used to improve living conditions, provide children with comprehensive, private education. 270
To conclude these observations, I presume the insitution of marriage and family will still be relevant in the future, although it should be mentioned that the established values of society are ruined by societies.
