1. Summary. What Would An Ideal Friend Be like?

Friendship is one of the most difficult responsibilities a man can have. Friendship is an inseparable part of human social life. People always try to find an answer to the following ultimate age-old questions about friendship.
The author of the article describes which characteristics are attributable to an ideal friend. The author thinks this question is still relevant because people do not have enough knowledge, the range of the clear-cut criteria for the definition of an ideal friend. In the author's point of view, there exist several aspects which can help to find some answers. Vulnerability is one of the main aspects of good friendship. Vulnerability means that an ideal friend is a person who accept not only your strong suit, but also your weaknesses. Moreover, from his part, he is not afraid of showing his vulnerability, sorrow and, in general, real feelings. In addition, he is really interested in your problems, profundities of your feelings and he do care about the solution of it. An ideal friend knows that you are fragile and he never let you give up. (181) A real friend always makes you better. There are plenty of things we do not now about ourselves. A true friend makes you explore your personality and help to improve your self-understanding. Consequently, you start to contemplate the important things in your life and reconsider some old values.
To balance what it have been already mentioned, it is fair to say that an ideal friend pays compliments and shows respect, objectivity, hospitality and generosity to their soulmates. A commonly held misconception is that the best friends are people we spend a lot of time with. You and your friend can be separated by a great distance, but it will not change anything.
As for me, there is nothing new and I share the author's view.

  1. Hello,

The article you have chosen is devoted to an eternal topic of friendship
You've explained what the article is about . But your summary is way too long because it includes not only the main ideas but some details, which is not usually done when summarising.

It was a bit inconvenient for me to read your work because of the colour scheme of your blog. Yes, we discussed it before but your other posts were ok from this point of view.

I did not understand what (181) stands for. As far as I can guess this is some reference probably from the article you have summarised. Is this so? If yes, you had to add full reference in the end of your work.
