Sexual harassment in Pakistani politics
Indeed, politics is a ''dirty'' domain in the modern society. There are a lot problems in this system, which I want to share with you. Read one horrifying story from Pakistan.
Ayesha Gulalai is a Pakistani politician who had been a Member of the National Assemble of Pakistan from 2013 to May 2018. She accused the party leader Imran Khan of some inadmissible text messages. Of course, accused of a crime Imran Khan refused to comment the situation and claim Ayesha tries to tar his reputation.
The reaction was terrible, Ayesha's truth provokes the defamation from the Pakistani society. Her family and she were given a list of threats which was agressive. Some peole are going to attack her with acid, others threat to kill the woman.
But Ayesha finds her support on social network service. Many women from different countries tell about their tragical experience of harassment and demonstrate their own disagreements on the Pakistani scandal.
I was shoked by this behavior of the society. I think even if she was a lier, every information could be verified.

Thanks for sharing your opinion about the described situation. What do you think should be done to change the described attitudes? What about the Russian society? Do you consider it has a different attitude to these issues?
ОтветитьУдалитьGood afternoon! Unfortunately, I didn't see your comments for so long time. In my opinion, the society have to eradicate such situation by the prison sentence. As for the Russian Federation, I think I should learn more information for making my own correct point of view. Thank you for your attention.
